10 Gallon Starter Home Brewing System- BIAB - Brew in A Bag - Scratch & Dent

The kettles have scratches and one or two dents/dings. Volume markings might be hard to read or missing. Get one of these starter systems with minor damage to the kettle and save a few bucks. The damage to the kettles does not affect the function of the brew system. Everything in the kit is brand new.

The Starter System Includes

• 10.5 gallon, 304 stainless steel brewing (mash and boil) kettle.
• 304 Stainless steel, removable, self draining grain basket.
• 3 grain basket drain clips.
• Tri-clamp, gasket, and end cap for heating element port.
• 1 ball valve.
• Plug for thermometer port.
• Lid plug and gasket.

Product Details:

This is a scaled down version of our Electric Home Brewing System. This system is designed for folks that already have a heat source or digital controller. This system can be heated on a propane burner, electric hotplate or even a large stovetop. This version also does not include the chiller, pump, heating element kit, or digital PID controller.  If you are looking for the full electric system click here.

Typical brewing systems require 2 or even 3 different vessels (pots, pans, kettles, etc...). Ours only uses 1. That's because we've integrated stainless steel grain and hop baskets (instead of lame nylon bags) into the design, which can be removed after use. This allows mashing, boiling, hop additions, etc. to be done in the same kettle. For example, once you're done mashing, simply lift the basket, install basket support clips, and allow the grain to drain into the kettle.

We want you to make professional quality beer with this system. That's why we insisted on using 100% food grade 304 stainless steel for the entire system. Though, we want you to be safe too, which is why we use temperature resistant silicone coated handles for safe handling while brewing.
